Pray for Our Priests.

Today I want to pray for our priests and nuns.

These men and women have being under unbelievable presure following the norms of Our Church, feeling deeply Our Lord’s journey all the way to today, the Conmemoration of His Crucifixion where we remember how He gave His life for us.

We all have tried to follow all the Church Services and following the Fasting and Abstinence rules, not for the sake of ticking boxes in our Faith list but to walk with Christ and train our body and soul to conquer our instincts and trying to control our will to let Him guide us. It has been a hard road, but not harder than what our Priests have had to go through.

Service after service, delivering to the faithful the message of Our Lord. They have being annointed and are carrying their crosses. Hearing endless confessions, preparing the Church for the hundreds of people who will fill up the chairs and benches, making sure the technology is suitable, that there is enough Palms/Olive Branches,  enoughs flowers, the booklets are print out, that the Eucharist is given to the Congregation in a timely and sacred manner, all while they fast, the run around, they pray and they contemplate Our Lord and walk with Our Lady and her sorrows.

Let us pray for Our Priests, Our Bishop and all the Catholic Bishops, Our Maronite Patriarch and for our Pope.

Let us pray for their vocation and for new vocations.

Without them we wouldn’t have a glimpse of our Lord. Their hands are the ones anointed to touch Him, their lips are the ones authorized by Our Lord to forgive our sins time after time, their lives are lives of sacrifice. Their road guides us to heaven by giving us all the Sacraments in the Name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Today, I remember our Priests and their exhaustation. May God give them the strenght they need, the peace they need and may St. Michael and St. Joseph, Protector of the Church and Terror of Demons, protect them from all temptation and keep them in the road to heaven. Without our priests we would be lambs lost in the dessert, but behind good priests, many souls are rescued and brought back to Our Lord.

We need to pray for them. They need our prayers and we need them.

St. Michael, the Archangel, pray for Our Priests.
St. Joseph, protector of the Church, pray for Our Priests.
St. Charbel, pray for our Priests.
St. Maroun, pray for our Priests.
St. Rafqa, pray for our Priests.
St. Hardini, pray for our priests.

All Angels and Saints, pray for our Priests.

Amen
