Trust God

I know all of us have been hit with COVID19 either by been close contacts and staying home cautiously and anxiously waiting for daily/or day in and day out Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results…

Then knowing you are Positive and/or someone you know is… someone you’re friends with… someone you love: your husband, your children, your parents, your grandparents… Anxiety kicks in and a bit of de-attachment too. And you freeze.

You know the impact of this disease no matter how “mild” some have had it or how awfully hard others had it… no matter if it is Omicron or Delta… or XYZ… it is COVID, people have died from it… we’ve being hearing, watching and feeling it for 2 years now… it is ok to freeze and be shock that you are in the middle of the storm…

And behold, a great tempest occurred in the sea, so much so that the boat was covered with waves; yet truly, he was sleeping. And his disciples drew near to him, and they awakened him, saying: “Lord, save us, we are perishing.” And Jesus said to them, “Why are you afraid, O little in faith?” Then rising up, he commanded the winds, and the sea. And a great tranquility occurred.” Matthew 8, 24-26

We know our God is bigger than the Delta and than the Omicron… HE is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end… and even though anxiety might be crippling you or paralysing you, be sure to trust God…and even though you feel like you cannot even say a Prayer, that you cannot pray, God knows what you are NOT saying too…

Before they call I will answer, while they are yet speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65: 24.

But talk to Him… let Him calm your anxious heart, HE is the only one that CAN.

Sometimes He calms the storm
With a whispered peace be still
And He can settle any sea
But it doesn’t mean he will
Sometimes He holds us close
And lets the wind and waves go wild
Sometimes He calms the storm
And other times He calms his child.
Scott Krippayne, “Sometimes He Calms the Storm” Song.

Repeat it: “Sometimes He calms the storm, and other times HE CALMS HIS CHILD.”…

Rest in His arms. Rest in His will. God is in control.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

God bless you,
